This policy explains how Boston Landscape Co collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website.
Information you give us
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, contact details, and message to respond to your request. Your information goes to our customer relationship management system, LeadConnector / HighLevel.
When you use our chat assistant, we collect the messages you type. If you choose to share them, we also collect your name, email address, phone number, address, and details about the work you need. The assistant uses Anthropic's AI service to generate replies from your messages. We and our marketing agency, AQ Marketing, keep the chat transcript and the details you provide. Your chat details also go to LeadConnector / HighLevel so we can follow up.
Information collected automatically
Our website collects your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and time on the site. Cookies and similar browser storage also support website functions, analytics, advertising, and visitor identification. The tools listed below explain their purposes and storage.
How we use and share information
- We use contact form and chat information to answer your questions, respond to requests, and follow up about your project. Our marketing agency, AI chat provider, and CRM provider receive information for these purposes.
- Analytics providers measure how you find and use our website and count page views.
- Hosting, security, and spam-filtering providers process information to host and deliver the website, protect it from attacks and bots, and check form submissions for spam. Akismet receives what you submit in a form, along with your IP address and browser details.
- Font, embedded-content, image, file, code-library, and search-engine tools receive information as your browser loads their services. This can include your IP address, browser details, or the page address, depending on the tool.
- We share information for targeted advertising and use identity-resolution tools. These tools try to identify otherwise anonymous visitors by matching browsers with identity data from partner networks.
